AninetFest, 20/2-12/3/19

 Festival Description:

International Festival Of Short Animated Films - AninetFest is an international competition and online platform to support animated short films and their creators. At the same time it serves to the promotion, propagation, retrieval and watching possibilities of the best animated short films from around the world. The top 20 short animated films will compete in this competition. You can watch and evaluate them during the festival.

The festival will take place from 20th February to 12th March 2019 on the web http://www.aninetfest.com

Requirements for registered films:

• Film must be available as DCP or HD file for festival screening. Physical media (DVD’s etc.) won’t be accepted.
• Film must not exceed the length of 10 min
• Film was created during 2013-2018
• Film dialogs must in English, or with English subtitles
• At least 50% of the film length consists of any animation techniques

The main competition category:

• The Best Animated Short Film
• this prize is awarded by an international jury
• the top 3 films receive this award, so total 3 prizes:

                       1^st place -    $ 500 + festival trophy                       
                       2^nd place -   $ 300 + festival trophy
                       3^rd place -    $ 200 + festival trophy

Secondary competition categories:

• Audience Award for The Best Film
• only 1 film receive this award
• it will be determined on the basis of audience ratings, i.e. film with the highest score wins
• the winner of this category gains a festival trophy

• Special Award of AninetFest
• this prize is awarded by Art Commission, members of the team AninetFest
• this prize may not be awarded in each year of the festival
• the winner of this category gains a festival trophy
