After hosting 11,700 participants in 2018, the next edition of the Festival and the International Market will take place between 10 and 15 June 2019.

Films competition:

• Feature Films
• Short Films
• TV Films
• Commissioned Films
• Graduation Films
• [email protected] Productions

Eligibility conditions:

• Any audiovisual animation, created frame by frame whatever the technique, made for the cinema, television and any other screening platform may be entered.
• Only works completed after 1 January 2018 and never previously entered at the Annecy Festival will be accepted.
• No entry fee is required.

To compete, the films should be submitted before 15 February 2019 to one of the following categories:

• short films
• TV films and webseries - TV series and webseries - TV specials
• commissioned films - educational, scientific or industrial films - advertising or promotional films - music videos
• graduation films

Deadline for the Feature Films category: 15 March 2019
Deadline for the VR Films category: 15 April 2019

Projects Competition (MIFA Pitches):

• Short Films
• Feature Films
• TV Series and Specials
• Interactives & Transmedia Creations
• Animation du Monde (this category is open to all formats, but reserved to territories with an emerging animation industry - see the list of eligible countries in the regulations)

Eligibility conditions for projects:

• Projects must be presented by its author(s), irrespective of the filmmaking techniques used (traditional or new, containing a minimum of 50% animation), target audience, genre (fiction, documentary, educational, experimental, etc.), age and nationality of the author(s).
• Webseries projects can compete in the TV Series and Specials category.
• Registration is free of charge.
