Damian Anca's documentary animation Crulic: The Path to Beyond is the sole animated film to compete for the European Parliament LUX Prize.

Tram by the Czech auteur Michaela Pavlatova and the Roman-Polish film Crulic won the major awards at the 2012 Annecy Film Festival.
