Medical, autobiographical and funny. Watch Foxy by Stephanie Thandi Johnstone.

According to Foxy, a few shall have the misfortune of sharing an uncomfortably intimate moment with those we call 'medical professionals'.

The rest of us shall rely on those few to tell the tale. In 'Foxy', a woman recalls the distressing repercussions of contracting Gastroenteritis in her teenage years.

The simplicity of the drawings matches the intimacy of explaining a rather hapless incident, and strongly brings to mind Signe Baumane's work.

Stephanie Thandi Johnstone is a London-based, awarded visual media artist.

She has now joined forces with the Bafta-nominated production studio 12foot6 to complete Foxy.
