Cartoon Saloon at the Irish anime convention, Nom-con:

old-fangsThe Oscar-nominated Cartoon Saloon studio will be present at the Dublin anime convention Nom-Con (24 August).


Nora Twomey and Fabian Erlinghauser will be attending the 2012 Nom-con in 24th August, at 5pm.


They will present 3 Cartoon Saloon short films - 'From Darkness', 'Cúilín Dualach' and 'Old Fangs'. 


A presentation on the making of 'The Secret of Kells' follows, as well as a sneak preview (artwork) from Tomm Moore's new feature 'Song of the Sea'.


Nom-Con is an annual Japanese Art and Culture festival founded in 2010 in the Republic of Ireland.


It is one of the largest of its kind and the only independently run Anime convention in the country.


It will be held at the Burlington Hotel, Dublin, from 24th - 26th August. Visit the Nom-Con page.
