Jobs: Reader in Film or Animation, UCA
The School of Film, Media & Performing Arts at the University of Creative Arts (Farnham) is looking to appoint a Reader in Film or Animation in either theory or practice to lead and develop the schools research culture. The FM&PA School is home to a range of film, animation and media courses across the UCA campuses and produces a diverse range of prize winning student work; our alumni have won BAFTA and Oscar awards.
With over a thousand undergraduate and postgraduate students and a growing portfolio of courses, the school is looking for an applicant who have an understanding of the research environment and a record of accomplishment of successful bids or fund raising for their work or publications.
Based at UCA Farnham the post holder will work closely with the head of school to develop and implement the school’s research strategy.
The successful candidate should be nationally and/or internationally recognised in their field.
