The 17th Athens ANIMFEST - International Animation Festival opens to Animation fans again this year. For submission are accepted ONLY animated movies in Short, Student, Experimental and Greek categories.

* In Ancient Olympic Games all the winners were crowned by the judges with a wreath of a wild olive tree which was called "cotinos". This olive tree was behind the Τemple of Zeus in Olympia.
Eligibility criteria:
- Athens Animfest welcomes only short (short, student, experimental, greek) animated movies.
- To be eligible, films must have been completed since 1 January 2020 and be 30 minutes or less in duration.
- The official languages of the festival are English and Greek. To qualify for selection, all non-English language films must have an English-subtitled screening copy available.
Important information
- Early bird deadline: January 15th, 2022 (fee: 10 euros)
- Submission deadline: February 4th, 2022 (standard fee: 16 euros)
