Event Description

ANIDOX:LAB is The Animation Workshop / VIA University College’s animation documentary professional training programme in partnership with the Danish Film Institute, the Swedish Film institute, Viken Filmsenter, CPH:DOX, Nordisk Panorama and Documentary Campus. With support from the Nordic Culture Fond. It is a laboratory, during which we bring together documentarians and animation directors, artists and creative producers to maximize their capacity and cultivate new skills, develop their respective projects, and expand their international networks for creative research while facilitating new collaborations.

The lab is 2 sessions of professional seminars which take place in Denmark (Copenhagen and Viborg), as well as individual tailor-made online consultations. ANIDOX:LAB uniquely addresses visual storytelling in emerging media. We focus on collaborative process, matchmaking, reaching audiences and new frameworks. The coaching seminars and creative workshops are designed to progress from fine- tuning an initial idea, through visual and narrative development, to a pitch package and a teaser/trailer.
