36 Animation Shorts for PÖFF Shorts, Tallinn

36 animation films in the international competition of PÖFF Shorts festival, in Tallinn, Estonia.

The festival (18-24 November 2021) has a separate competition for professional and student (New Talents) films, as well as Children's Animation film (12 were selected this year). Among the 24 films we find names like Joanna Quinn (Affairs of the Art), Marta Pajek (Impossible Figures and Other Stories I, her last one in the trilogy) and the new film by Špela Čadež (Steakhouse).

Michelle & Uri Kranot return with their social responsibility study of 'The Hangman at Home'.

Leonid Shmelkov, author of the awarded 'Room with A Sea View' returns with 'Cucumbers', another quirky story about a successful fashion photographer who suddenly went wrong (world premiere).

In the New Talents selection, which has a strong Central European flavour, we find 'Love, Dad' by Diana Cam Van Nguyen, Czech Republic / Slovakia.

Children competition has the dramatic family story of 'Black Slide' by the Israeli director Uri Lotan
