An exhibition devoted to the German Drawn Animation Film 1930-1950 takes place in Dresden, Germany, from 21 April – 29 September 2013.

The exhibition Traum Schmelze documents German drawn animation film in avant-garde, everyday life and propaganda. Drawing sketches,  photos, written documents, objects and film props  – for the first time ever in an international exhibition.

 The exhibition is organized by the Deutsches Institut für Animationsfilm , in collaboration with the Deutsch Filmmuseum Frankfurt, the  Netherlands Institute for Animation, and the National Film Archive of Prague.

Traum Schmelze will be hosted at the  Technische Sammlungen Dresden (April 21- September 29, 2013).
