Anibar Animation Festival 2021: Selection Results

Anibar International Animation Festival announces the artistic program for its 12th edition this year. From the 23rd until the 30th of July, the festival will present around 300 animated films out of 1413 submitted from all over the world.
The films will be divided into nine categories. Six of these categories are competitions: the International Competition, Student Competition, Balkan Competition, Animated Music Video Competition, Feature Film Competition, and the Human Rights Category. The three other categories are non-competitive: Panorama Out Of Competition, Kids & Teen Program, and Experimental Special Program.
For this edition, Anibar will have the world premieres of:
- “The Raft” by Marko Mestrovic, as part of the Balkan Competition.
- “Error” by Lucie Vostárková as part of the Student Competition.
- The second premiere after the Cannes Film Festival of “Red Shoes” by Anna Paděrová, in the Student Competition.

This year’s program includes films that have been screened, nominated, and won awards at many festivals such as Annecy International Animation Film Festival, Cannes Film Festival, Berlin International Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, Animafest Zagreb, Kaboom, Fantoche, Anifilm, Stuttgart Trickfilm International Animated Film Festival, and many more.
Anibar International Animation Festival will take place from 23 to 30 July 2021 in Peja, Kosovo and online.
