The 31st Etiuda&Anima Festival (Krakow, Poland, 22-27 October 2024) has unveiled its program. No fewer than 83 animation films, 45 in the International Animation programme and 38 in the Anima.PL (Polish) competition were selected for this year's Krakow run.

The bald men story of 'Beatiful Men' by Nicolas Keppens feature in the international programme, side-to-side with the German queer film 'Carrotica' by Daniel Sterlin-Altman. Koji Yamamura returns with his latest 'Extremely Short'; another 2D animation film, the Rotterdam-premiered 'Flower Show' by the Finnish Elli Vuorinen also graces the programme.

The Latvian animation filmmaker Edmunds Jansons features with the abstract 'Freeride in C', and Izabela Plucińska competes with the stop-motion story of 'Joko' (also in the Anima.PL competition). 

Festival hits 'Misaligned' by Marta Magnuska, and 'Crab' by Piotr Chmielewski feature in the Anima.PL competition -which includes the multiply-acclaimed 'Winter/Zima' by Tomasz Popakul & Kasumi Ozeki.
