Besides the prizes that will be given for each one of these categories, this year the festival gives e away the prize for the best cause treated by a film, as well as the audience prize.

In connection with the theme of the festival, a special program curated by Jiri Nedel called "Global Warming in Animation" will provide films that deal with the topic of climate change through animation.

Other special programs meet the broad creative and very important specter where animation belongs, such as "Introduction to animated music videos" curated by Tomek Ducki.

The international cooperation between ANIBAR and NonStop Animation Film Fest (Spain)/ Bogoshorts Short Film Fest (Columbia) has resulted in the "Focus in Spain and Columbia" program that consists of some film programs and a series of presentations about animation industry in these countries and the possibility of gaining experience from these examples.

Programs such as "Spanish and Catalan Animation" and "Colombian Animation" will be screened as a result of this cooperation.
