World Festival of Animated Film - Animafest Zagreb  presents the official selection results for the Grand Competition - Short Film, Croatian Film Competition and Student Film Competition.

Between more than 820 films submitted at the Animafest Zagreb (7-12 June 2021) for the category Grand Competition - Short Film, the selection committee chose 44 films. Among 840 submitted student films, Student Film Competition will present 45, while this year's Croatian Film Competition will consist of 23 films.


Besides Daniel Šuljić, the artistic director of the Festival, selectors in categories Grand Competition - Short Film and Croatian Film Competition were Margit Antauer and Thomas Johnson, while Lucija Bužančić and Lea Vidaković took part in the selection for the Student Film Competition.

Joanna Quinn & Les Mills (Affairs of the Art), Paul Bush (Orgiastic Hyper-Plastic,), the Berlinale-awarded Nicolas Keppens (Easter Eggs) feature in the short film compeition,
