“Let’s Go Grandpa” is a live-action feature. To get the family together, you sometimes need to run away from home. A film tells a story that could happen to (almost) any family

The Pop Up Film Residency award – 3-weeks residency in Bratislava – was given to the Filipino project “Ninja from Manila” produced by Alemberg Ang and written by Miko Livello, Joma labayen and Mihk Vergara. “Ninja from Manila” tells a story of the lengths the father goes through to make true his son’s wish to become a ninja warrior.

The M:brane award was awarded to “Lala – A Fairy’s Heart”. The project has been invited to pitch at M:brane forum. “Lala – A Fairy’s Heart” is a fairy tale about friendship, courage, healing broken hearts, being lost and finding your way.

The free participation in EAVE Marketing Workshop went to Zofia Jaroszuk from Animoon, the producer of the “Flo the Seal” and “Toru Superfox”.

Zofia Jaroszuk talked to Zippy Frames about the distinction:

I am very excited to take part in the Eave Marketing Workshop. Given how much competitive the European animation market is as a producer I need to constantly keep an eye on latest tendencies and shifts the film market takes. I believe that Eave Workshop will give me a new, valuable perspective - Zofia Jaroszuk

“Planet 7693” won the free participation in the next edition of the Kids Kino.Lab, script development programme. The film tells a story of a boy who is trying to heal disrupted family relations with a help of mysterious friend.
