Montreal animator Patrick Doyon with the Jacques Tati-style Dimanche is leading the field.

Pixar gets its single nomination in the animated categories (no Oscar nomination for Cars 2) for the inventive La Luna.

The always remarkable Amanda Forbis & Wendy Tilby (Palme D' Or & Oscar-nomination for When the day breaks) come back with Wild Life, a bittersweet story of a British in harsh lands

The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore has the ex-Pixar designer William Joyce creating a book adventure (and an ipad application).

A morning stroll (Grant Orchard) narrates the quirky encounter of a New Yorker with a chicken throughout the century.
