The Austrian experimental filmmaker Thomas Renoldner will organize the highly interesting  PRINTMAKINGANIMATION workshop at the Cyprus animation festival, along with Federica Pagnucco.

It was a French animation studio, now it becomes a cultural centre and residency. Ciclic Animation opens its doors in September 2015.

Once more the JAPIC programme helps animators in their early stage of their career to have a Tokyo residency and complete an animation project.

 This project, organized by the Agency for Cultural Affairs, Government of Japan (Bunka-cho), is an artist in residence program that provides three outstanding young animation artists from around the world with an opportunity to come to Tokyo and create new works while directly interacting with Japanese animation culture. It aims to promote both the creation of excellent works of animation and a better understanding of Japanese culture.

3 applicants will be selected to stay in Tokyo for 70 days between January 7th and March 17th, 2016, and create a short animation project.

Alex Grigg, Anna Budanova, and Natalia Chernysheva are the animators selected for the Animation Artists in Residence programme in Tokyo.

The seminar Adapting A Story For Animation will be held within the framework of DC Independent Film Festival.
