ANIMAGE International Animation Festival

Event Description:

The ANIMAGE - International Animation Festival of Pernambuco take place in Recife - Brazil since 2008. The festival will include competitive screenings of national and international animation short films, in addition to special screenings, feature films, masterclasses, talks, and workshops.

 COMPETITIVE SCREENING CATEGORIES

• Short film - Films lasting up to 30 minutes (credits included)
• Children's Short Film - Films for children audience lasting up to 30 minutes (credits included)
• Brazilian Short Film - Films lasting up to 30 minutes (credits included) made in Brazil

BEST SHORT FILM – GREAT ANIMAGE AWARD – Prize: ANIMAGE TROPHY and R$ 4.000,00 (Four Thousand Reais – Brazilian Currency)

The jury will avouch for the picking of the winner films of the ANIMAGE TROPHY according to the categories listed below, except AUDIENCE AWARD category, which will be elected by direct public vote.

 BEST BRAZILIAN SHORT FILM – Prize: ANIMAGE Trophy
 BEST SHORT FILM - AUDIENCE AWARD – Prize: ANIMAGE Trophy
 BEST DIRECTION – Prize: ANIMAGE Trophy
 BEST SCREENPLAY – Prize: ANIMAGE Trophy
BEST ART DIRECTION – Prize: ANIMAGE Trophy
BEST ANIMATION TECHNIQUE – Prize: ANIMAGE Trophy
 BEST SOUND MIXING – Prize: ANIMAGE Trophy
